When the autumn weather is beautiful, it is impossible to resist the call of the wild! Even, as it happens, the wild is in Sharon Woods Metro Park here in Columbus. Carrying one's camera on even small adventures such as this usually yields a few fun shots of nature and friends, and this walk was no exception! We saw no less than 15 small snakes, a turtle, several deer and, appropriately, a few bluebirds of happiness. Here are some shots of the snakes, turtle and my good friend Laura.
Originally from Evansville, IN, I graduated 2001 with a B.S. in Aviation Technology from Purdue University. Soon after, I traveled throughout Europe for a month and returned to start my career as a professional pilot. First a jet copilot, later captain, for a Midwestern regional airline, my time away from work took me all over the world and allowed me to cultivate my numerous hobbies. Most notably, my passion of photography, which I turned into a professional pursuit mid-2008. Now I have two jobs, Owner and Photographer of Walter Judy Photography, and corporate-jet copilot for NetJets Aviation. I don't travel for pleasure as much as I used to, but I make up for it by taking a large volume of pictures and growing my business.
